MF-LSMF PPTC Resettable Fuse Line with Broader Hold Current and Increased Voltage Models

Nine new fuse models provide hold currents up to 7 A and voltage up to 72 V, with select models in SMD packaging to significantly increase design selection options

RIVERSIDE, Calif., March 2, 2026 - Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components for power, protection, and sensing solutions, today announced the expansion of its Multifuse® MF-LSMF High-Power Surface Mount Polymeric Positive Temperature Coefficient (PPTC) Resettable Fuse Series. Providing additional design options, the nine new models offer broader hold current (I_hold) ranges up to 7.0 A and increase the maximum voltage range up to 72 V. Specifically, the Model MF-LSMF600/16X (16 VDC, 6.0 A) is available in space-saving 2920 SMD packaging.

Riverside, California - February 20, 2026 – Bourns is pleased to announce the release of the GDT225HE Series, a family of UL Recognized High Voltage, High Energy Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) devices. The GDT225HE Series offers a broad DCBV from 1000 V to 2000 V which provides superior surge protection with In of 40 kA and Imax 60 kA ratings on an 8/20 μs waveform, delivering robust performance in lightning prone and high energy applications. These devices are tested per ITU-T K.12 methods and provide a compact, space-saving solution suitable for high density and space-restricted designs. The series is available in a variety of lead shapes to fit various configuration requirements.
